What is Juvederm Voluma XC?

Voluma XC is the first and only FDA-approved VOLUMIZER. It works subdermally (below the skin’s surface) to lift the cheeks. Voluma XC sculpts and better defines the cheek area, creating a subtle lift and more youthful appearance.

What is the difference between Juvederm Voluma XC and a filler like Juvederm or Restalyne?

Dermal fillers are used primarily to fill in lines around the mouth and small surface areas such as the lips. Products such as Restylane and Juvederm differ entirely from Juvederm Voluma which literally VOLUMIZES the cheek area, creating more definition. These products are best utilized in concert with one another to improve sagging cheeks that occur with age, and need to fill in fine to moderate lines around the mouth. How long is the procedure?

A treatment normally takes 10 to 15 minutes, and the results will be observed immediately.

What are the most common side effects from Juvederm Voluma XC?

As with any injection, side effects may include slight bruising, bumps, redness or swelling.  These side effects typically resolve naturally.
