Dr. Kim is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon with extensive training and expertise in Mohs surgery, reconstruction, cosmetics, and medical dermatology.
Dr. Kim received her Bachelor’s degree from Brown University and then went to medical school at Penn State College of Medicine, where she was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. She then completed her internship in internal medicine at Mount Sinai West/Morningside in NYC before completing her dermatology residency at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident.
She then completed her Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology fellowship at Cooper University under the tutelage of Dr. Naomi Lawrence, one of the leaders in the fields of Mohs surgery, reconstruction and cosmetic dermatology, and former president of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. During her fellowship, Dr. Kim received comprehensive training and expertise in Mohs surgery, including Mohs for melanoma and other rare tumors, as well as complex reconstruction. She also received training in cosmetic procedures such as neuromodulators, fillers, chemical peels, and laser surgery.
Dr. Kim has published original research in leading dermatology journals including the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology and Dermatologic Surgery Journal and has presented at national and regional conferences.
Dr. Kim is excited for the opportunity to provide compassionate dermatologic care, Mohs surgery, and cosmetics to her patients at Fairfield Dermatology.
