What is LATISSE ®?

LATISSE ^® is a topical prescription for the treatment hypotrichosis (inadequate or not enough lashes) to grow eyelashes longer, fuller, thicker and darker.

How does LATISSE ® work?

We believe LATISSE ® works by increasing the growth cycle (anagen) phase of your eyelash hair cycle. Anagen is the growth phase of all hair. LATISSE ® increases the length of the anagen phase and the number of hairs in this growth phase.

Who should use LATISSE®?

Any individual desiring longer, thicker and darker eyelashes may be a candidate for LATISSE ®. Your dermatologist will assist in determining whether LATISSE ® is right for you.

What side effects should I expect from LATISSE ®?

Although side effects are rare, the most common side effects from treatment are itchy and red skin around the eyes. These effects resolve upon cessation of the medication.

How long with the effects of LATISSE ® last?

The effects of LATISSE ® continue throughout your treatment. Longer, thicker and darker lashes may be seen as early as 4-6 weeks. If LATISSE ® is discontinued, your lashes will gradually return to their previous appearance. Individuals may continue their treatment to maintain the results of the therapy.

How is LATISSE ® applied?

LATISSE ® is applied with a special sterile applicator on a nightly basis to the upper eyelashes only. The entire application process takes less than 2 minutes.
